What is the dress code?

On Friday and Sunday, the dress code is Dressy Casual. For Saturday, the ceremony and reception is Semi-formal / Formal attire. Please note:

1) On Saturday, our ceremony will be outside after sunset. It will be chilly, so we recommend bringing a jacket!

2) For Friday and Sunday events, if you plan to walk to/from the hotel, we recommend wearing walking shoes.

What will the weather be like?


It's Sacramento in the fall — expect sunshine with a chill in the air. Be sure to wear layers, as the weather can be unpredictable, and rain is possible if unlikely. We recommend bringing a jacket on Saturday for the ceremony, since it will take place after sunset.

For Saturday, is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors, so please dress for the weather and wear shoes suitable for a grassy lawn. If it rains, we’ll move indoors at the same location.

Where is the location of the welcome reception (Friday) and brunch (Sunday)?


Both events will take place near the Hyatt House hotel in Midtown, Sacramento. Exact locations and details of our full schedule is on the Schedule section of our wedding website.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Where should I stay?

We highly recommend staying at the Hyatt House Midtown Sacramento, as many of our activities will be nearby.

When should I plan to arrive and leave?

Check out the “Schedule” tab on our wedding website. Our weekend starts Friday evening and ends Sunday mid-day. All guests are invited to all events - we can’t wait to spend the weekend with you all!

What day is the shuttle available?

A shuttle will be provided on Saturday to help guests get to and from the main events. Full details are available on the “Schedule” page of our wedding website.

The shuttle will:

1) Take guests from the Hyatt House Hotel, Midtown to the ceremony

2) Take guests from the ceremony to the dinner reception

3) Return guests from the dinner back to the hotel

For Friday and Sunday events, everything is within close distance of the hotel, so transportation will not be provided. We recommend bringing walking shoes.

Is the Saturday shuttle making multiple trips?

No, the shuttle will make one trip each way, so be sure to be ready at the scheduled departure time! We don’t want you to miss the ride.

For Saturday, is it okay if I arrange my own transportation instead of taking the shuttle?

Yes! Please let Nora and Jonathan know that you are arranging transportation so we have a final shuttle count.

If you plan on taking your own transportation, plan to arrive at Gibson Ranch Regional Park, The Ranch House at 3pm to join us in the festivities.

For Saturday, is it okay if I take the shuttle to Gibson Ranch but leave separately?

Absolutely! You’re welcome to ride the shuttle to the venue and make your own arrangements for the return trip.

What airport should I fly into?

We recommend flying into Sacramento International Airport (SMF), which is just a 20-minute ride to Midtown, Sacramento.

The hotel is in Midtown, but the wedding venue is a bit outside of that area. Why stay in Midtown?

We will be hosting several activities throughout the weekend in the Midtown, Sacramento area. (See Schedule page of our wedding website.) We want to show off our cute neighborhood, and staying at this hotel gives you easy access to everything we have planned.

Are kids welcome?

Absolutely! We’re thrilled to celebrate with guests of all ages. If you’re bringing children, please be sure to include them in your RSVP. Visit the RSVP tab on our wedding website for more details.

Can I bring a plus one?

If your invitation includes a plus one, you’ll see their name or an option when you RSVP on our wedding website. If you have any questions, please let us know.
